A book club focussed that hopes to help participants:

  • “access resources to understand how poverty positively & negatively affects our students
  • change course/campus policies to decrease barriers for financially-challenged students
  • use D2L Brightspace tools to increase learning and engagement
  • make connections with staff and faculty across the system.”

First book is Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis by J.D. Vance.
